Pony Tales Horseback Riding Camp • St. Rose, 3 miles past the airport • Ages 4 - 12 
Since 1983, Pony Tales has offered riding lessons, ponies for birthday parties, and summer and holiday camps. They have miniatures, ponies, and horses of varying sizes, known for their good manners and years of experience, perfect for beginning riders. At camp, kids get to handle and ride a “horse” of their size, not one too big for them. They learn safety around the ponies and horses and explore true “horsemanship” and “horse sense”. They come home telling you about what they learned! Single-day camps are offered so your kid can try it out for just a day! The head instructor and owner is Kaye Harris who has been riding since 1973 under professional trainers. Kids’ learning is her passion, not just riding but how it applies to life. She loves to teach beginners their basics!

Skyhawks Sports Academy • Across the Greater New Orleans Area • Ages 1.5 - 12 
Skyhawks has partnered with JPRD to offer weekly Mini-Hawk camps for ages 4-7, Multi-Sport Camps, for ages 7-12, and 8 different specialty sports camps, providing countless ways for your child to grow. The camp is designed to introduce beginners through intermediate players to Tennis, Track & Field, Baseball, Basketball, Flag Football, Soccer & Volleyball. Also available are “STEM & Play” camps which combine traditional Skyhawks skill-based instruction with the innovative STEM Sports® curriculum. Discover the vibrant tapestry of nineteenth-century New Orleans with Courtyard Camp, where immersive activities and a focus on history and STEM take campers on an exciting journey. Through engaging scavenger hunts, museum visits, hands-on gardening, playful games, and culinary adventures in their renowned kitchen, campers dive into the city’s rich cultural heritage without even realizing they’re learning. Campers will go "behind the scenes" at two of the French Quarter's most important historic houses: Hermann-Grima House and Gallier House! Choose from 3 weeklong sessions: June 17, July 8, or July 29. Excite All Stars Summer Camp • New Orleans East • Ages 6–15
Excite All Stars is a non-profit organization that empowers kids to become leaders that change the world. We do this by providing a stable support system, exposure to all-in-one All-Star experiences in leadership, academics, the arts & athletics, and trailblazing thinking that teaches kids to create change in their community. We can't wait to make this summer an unforgettable adventure for your KF Camper! Get ready for a summer filled with fun, learning, and new friendships. The camp staff consists of qualified adults, with lead counselors, some of whom are Kehoe-France teachers, and junior counselors, including former students and campers. Camp activities include art, music, sports, swim lessons, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), makerspace, summer reading tutoring, outdoor exploration, and weekly themes and pep rallies.

MCA Summer Camp at Mount Carmel Academy • Lakeview • Entering grades 2-8
Campers customize their summer fun by picking their favorite activities from a diverse and exciting selection. They will enjoy being artists, scientists, dancers, athletes, cheerleaders, chefs, detectives, designers, actresses, and so much more! Campers will explore their interests and uncover new talents as they make friends and have a blast! Camp is from June 3 - June 28. Girls may register by the week or for entire sessions. Come cook up some fun with us! Our one-week summer camps for kids entering 3rd through 8th grade cover important basic kitchen skills such as safety and sanitation, knife skills, grilling, roasting, egg preparation, and of course measuring and baking. Our focus is on classical techniques and practical, scratch-prepared recipes that participants can use for years to come, and no two sessions are alike! Sugar Roots Farm Outdoor Summer Camp for 2024 will be offered for 5 weeks throughout May June & July. When campers join us for Summer Camp, they can expect an immersive five days in nature, full of arts and crafts, scientific inquiry, outdoor exploration, and new friendships with their peers and our farm animals. Spend your summer at St. George’s Episcopal School at one or more of our exciting and enriching Summer at StG camps, open to students ages 12 months through rising 8th grade! Camp U serves girls + boys from Rising Toddler 3 through Kindergarten and girls from Rising 1st through 8th Grades. YMCA • Metairie, Belle Chasse, Northshore, South Plaquemines • Ages 3–10th Grade
The YMCA camp allows children and teens to get outdoors, learn about nature, discover new interests, and be more physically active. Participants develop confidence, independence, leadership, and social skills. Every week is a new theme and a new adventure!

Camp Dream Street • Utica, MS • Ages 5-17
Dream Street is a five-day, four-night camping program for children with physical disabilities. Kids get to be kids and canoe, swim, cook, fish, ride horses, and make lasting friendships. The camp is held on the grounds of URJ Henry S. Jacobs Camp in Utica, MS, and is sponsored by NFTY’s Southern Region. Free for campers to attend. Camp dates are May 27 - 31, 2024.

Camp Tiger • New Orleans • Ages 6-15 
Camp Tiger invites children between the ages of 6-15 years old in the New Orleans, Northshore, Baton Rouge, and Lower Parish metropolitan areas who are physically and/or mentally challenged to join us for a week-long day summer camp. We especially welcome those children who are unable to attend other camps available for special needs, children. Although it is our goal to accommodate all children, due to limited funding and staff, we can only accept campers on a first come first serve basis whose needs we can meet with our current resources. Free for campers to attend. 

Krewe De Camp • Covington, LA • Ages 6 - High School Graduation 
The mission of Krewe De Camp is to provide a traditional, overnight summer camp experience to children with developmental disabilities while giving their parents and caretakers a much-needed rest. The one-week-long camp is free of charge so that the experience is available to all families regardless of financial need. Campers experience an array of activities including swimming, outdoor games, guest presenters, arts and crafts, concerts, a dance, and a fair. Camp is also an opportunity to socialize among peers and relax in a fun, nurturing atmosphere.

Louisiana Lions Camp • Anacoco, LA • Ages 8-19
A sleep-away camp for youth with qualifying special needs, diabetes, or pulmonary disorders. Each session is one week long, and registration specifics vary by camp. 

MedCamps of Louisiana Contact • West Monroe, LA • Ages 6-16
Every week during the summer, a different camp is held and each camp is designed specifically for a particular type of disability, which includes appropriate health professionals, specially-trained staff, and tailored activities. The focus is on what campers can do and all campers are encouraged to reach their full potential. In a safe environment surrounded by other children with similar challenges, campers discover they are not alone and gain a genuine sense of belonging, accomplishments, and self-worth. For children with a variety of physical and mental disabilities including Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, asthma, Sickle Cell Anemia, Autism, Epilepsy, juvenile arthritis, visual impairments, hearing impairments, speech impairments, and developmental disabilities.

Peac Camp at Crane Rehab Pediatrics • Metairie • Ages 3-8
Join Crane Rehab Pediatrics for a fun summer filled with activity, exploration, creativity, and play! PEAC Summer Camp promotes learning new skills, exploring new interests, and connecting with others through interaction and teamwork. Weekly sessions are available Monday through Friday from 9 am - 2 pm.

Camp Cabrini • Mid City • Entering Grades 1 - 7
Join Camp Cabrini June 3 - 28 (with specialty athletic and performing arts camps in June and July) from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday through Friday. Registration is open now! Campers will enjoy an array of activities like STEM, culinary, athletics, arts & crafts, cheer & dance, mass media, and more!

MCA Summer Camp • Lakeview • Entering grades 2-8
At MCA Summer Camp, campers customize their summer fun by picking their favorite activities from a diverse and exciting selection. Camp is open to girls entering grades 2-8 and will be June 5-30 by the week. Registration opens for grades 5-8 on March 15 and opens for grades 2-4 on March 16.

Art Camp 504 • Bywater • Ages 7-14
Join our community of young artists at the Tigermen Den in the Bywater, June 3 - August 16, register by the week. The daily schedule includes morning and afternoon art classes, with daily trips to Markey Playground and Clouet Gardens. We swim once a week at NORD Stalling Gentilly pool. Classes vary by age. Learn advanced visual and performing arts skills - classes include Creative Writing, Film, Fashion, Toy Design, Culinary Arts, Dungeons & Dragons, and more! 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, aftercare until 5:15. Cost - $350/week. Our Rising Artists Program provides scholarships for students with financial need.

Camp Studio NOLA • Metairie • Ages 5-10
Summer Camp planning has begun, and The Studio School of Dance is thrilled to announce the return of their most popular version of camp. This year, Camp Studio NOLA offers full-day camping! The Studio knows parents still need to work! They've got you covered! Previous experience or exposure to dance is helpful but certainly not needed. Each week will be centered around a different theme. Not only will campers dance, but they get to do games, crafts, and activities and even showcase an end-of-the-week performance for you. It’s endless fun, and they will be EXHAUSTED by pickup!

City Park Movement and Art (CPMA) offers Summer Day Camps and Weekly Classes. Summer Day Camps are half-day camps that are sure to keep your child inspired, active, and engaged. JPAS THEATRE KIDS! Summer 2024 camps include four camp offerings, two on the Westbank and two on the Eastbank. Camps are from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in June and July.
