Founded in 1867, the Academy of the Sacred Heart is a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for girls, age 1 through grade 12. The school has four educationally-focused divisions: Little Hearts, Lower School, Middle School and Upper School. Sacred Heart offers a college preparatory program with an emphasis on small class sizes.

PreK 3 - 8th Grade

Atonement Lutheran is located in Metairie. We are still enrolling for this current school year and have spaces available in most classes We will have an Open House on Wednesday, October 18th from 5pm-7pm. We would love to have you join our school family.

Infants - 7th Grade

Holy Name of Jesus School is a Catholic co-educational school located in the heart of Uptown that serves Infants through 7th Grade. We believe in educating the whole child through knowledge, faith, and dedication to serving the world around them.

months (Green Preschool) - 6th Grade (Jewish Community Day School)

Jewish Community Day School JCDS) is a coeducational independent school for students ages two months through 6th Grade. By fall 2027, we will offer two months through 8th grade. Balancing challenging academics with an enriching Jewish Studies program, a JCDS education is interdisciplinary, project-based, and holistic.

PREK2 - 7TH Grade

St. Ann School has a large administrative staff to meet the needs of our students, including the principal, assistant principal, curriculum coordinator, student activities director, coordinator of religious education, and technology coordinator. We also have an on-campus nurse and two counselors to help meet both the mental and physical needs of each student.

PK3 - 7th grade

At Stuart Hall, we understand and celebrate boys. It is the place Where Good Boys Become Great Men. Stuart Hall launches a boy on his lifelong journey — one filled with responsibility and accomplishment, of learning and leadership, of discovering and nurturing strengths in himself that he never knew he had. With an average class size of 18 students, each boy is fully involved. Faculty members design lessons that are engaging, active, and hands-on. Boys speak up, move around, and stay engaged.

Victory Christian Academy (VCA) was founded in 1984 and educates children in PK3 through 8th grade using a Biblical worldview. We seek to nurture the whole child and provide opportunities for growth in academics, character, arts, sports, and faith.
