Pre-K - 12th Grade
Lycée Francais de la Nouvelle Orléans offers more than a school — it’s an opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a world-class bilingual education in the heart of New Orleans. LFNO is a free charter school created in partnership with the Louisiana Department of Education and the French Ministry of Education. LFNO is proud to be the only free, K-12 public school accredited by the French Ministry of Education. Our teachers come from more than 30 countries and teach in their native language of French.
Students spend 5+ hours a day learning in French to ensure they develop their linguistic skills. Our students matriculate through Grade 12 with an impressive bilingual, and sometimes trilingual, background which increases their ability to be successful in a global economy.
We also offer the highly-coveted French Baccalaureate Diploma which allows students to attend any French public university in the world at a severely discounted rate (400€) One hundred percent of eligible LFNO students passed the French Baccalaureate with Honors which proves our commitment to seeing all of our students succeed.
