The Autism Society of Greater New Orleans' mission is to create connections, empowering everyone in the Autism Community with the resources needed to live fully.  Our affiliate runs a number of programs including our free information and referral service, monthly online social and support groups for Autistic adults and for caregivers (including one in Spanish), annual mini-grant program, inclusive community events, family outings, and our Vaccine Education Initiative. (Reading Enrichment and Development) to participate in our dynamic, early literacy program with your child. Our program is built around books, movement, music, art, and themed activities. Through creative play, children develop their skills and bring books and language into their daily lives. This class is designed to make positive connections between you, your child, and reading starting at an early age. With a focus on safety, health, social growth, and academic enhancement, Y after-school programs serve kindergartners through middle schoolers with a variety of programmatic and activity options to explore and develop their interests and talents. Kid's Castle • Lakeside Mall Metairie • Ages Birth - 8 (51 inches)
The Lakeside Mall Kids Castle is a free indoor playtime opportunity, where your little ones are sure to get some of their energy out. Now, parents must book a 25-minute playtime Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 7:00 pm and Saturday 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, and Sunday Noon - 6:00 pm either online or in person. Pony Tales welcomes and specializes in complete beginners. Lessons start at age 3 and up. Purchase a one-hour orientation lesson covering safety, horse handling, grooming, and a short intro to riding and see if Pony Tales is the right fit for you and/or your child. The East Jefferson YMCA is offering swim lessons through October for ages 3-12, taught by certified swim instructors in groups no larger than 5 students. This low child to instructor ratio ensures safety, quality and engagement of all children. Also offered this fall is youth tumbling on Saturdays, ages 2-6, and youth dance with creative movement and hip hop for ages 4-10.  The Y is all about youth development and community. Art Camp 504 • Bywater • Ages 7 - 14 years old
Camp 504 offers advanced in-person and virtual art workshops that empower students to lead their own creative journey through choice and exploration, guided by professional artists. Our programs include Summer, Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Break camps, as well as in-person and virtual after-school classes, and serve ages 7-14 at our partner venues: the Tigermen Den and the Music Box Village, both located in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans.  Registration for after-school classes is open! Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestras • Uptown • 7 years - College
The Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestras (GNOYO) has been recognized both locally and nationally for its commitment to music education. GNOYO offers students opportunities to participate in a wide range of programs including orchestras, individual music instruction, and small ensembles. The East Jefferson YMCA is offering art and dance lessons this Fall. ART: Craft Blast (ages 6-9) and Petite Picassos (ages 3-5) will explore creating multiple projects using array of craft supplies. Masterpiece Makers (ages 6-9) will explore drawing and painting using acrylics, watercolor and oil pastels. All supplies included. WWII Museum Electronic Field Trips 
Join the Museum for award-winning interactive webcasts on compelling WWII topics.

Electronic Field Trips are streamed directly into your device—no special technology is required. Focusing on the national impact of World War II, take your children on a cross-country tour of historic sites while examining fascinating artifacts and exhibits at The National WWII Museum. Swing by the archery range every Thursday to unwind, learn a new skill - or both. It's free! A certified archery instructor will always be on hand, providing thorough safety instructions and plenty of tips about technique and form.
