Are you a mompreneur?
Or an aunt/uncle/dad/grandparent preneur with cool goodies to sell? Well, Girl Scouts Louisiana East is looking for you!
Right now they are seeking vendors to participate in a Fall Craft Fair being held on Saturday, November 26, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the council’s headquarters, 841 South Clearview Parkway, in Elmwood.
Organized by troop leader and volunteer Bobby Mayo, the fair’s vendor fees will benefit local Girl Scout programming. “Girl Scouts has been a part of my life for many years as the father of a Girl Scout and as a troop leader and volunteer camping facilitator,” said Mayo. “I’ve seen first-hand the difference that the Girl Scout leadership program makes in the lives of girls, and I’m organizing this craft fair to support Girl Scouting for all girls in southeast Louisiana.”
Limited booth spaces are currently available for $50 for an outside booth with vendors supplying their own tables and chairs for set up or $125 for an inside booth with tables, chairs, and electricity being provided. For more information or to register for the event, contact Marketing and Development Associate Carrie Thomas at 504-355-5885 or cthomas@gsle.org. Additional information can also be found on the Girl Scout website.
