What was life in nineteenth-century New Orleans like? Courtyard Camp at Hermann-Grima + Gallier Historic Houses in the French Quarter connects the past to the present through engaging activities and immersive learning!

Each week-long summer camp session explores New Orleans’ history through games, projects, and more. Kids won’t realize they’re learning because they’ll be having too much fun going on scavenger hunts, visiting other French Quarter museums, understanding nineteenth-century science and technology, meeting museum staff, working on their green thumbs, playing games, and picking up culinary skills in the historic kitchen. Campers ages 7-12 will gain an understanding of the past during their time at the two National Historic Landmark properties.
