Trains! Crescent City Model Railroad Club Open House

November 24, December 8, 15, 16 and January 5

January 3, 2020

Calling all train lovers - you don't want to miss this!

The Crescent City Model Railroad Club (CCMRC) hosts a series of open house dates, welcoming the public to see one of the largest and most detailed DCC HO scale layouts in the Gulf South. Located in Metairie, the club models a fictitious railroad, called the Crescent Lines, whose main lines carry freight and passengers to and from the beautiful south.

Try your switching skills on the Timesaver switching layout! Have fun looking for hidden details with the fun scavenger hunt!  It's a great time for all ages. Kids can enjoy running trains on the children's layout. For the younger ones, it is recommended that parents bring a step stool so they can see the displays.

See the New Orleans Saints Super Bowl Train, Steam Trains, Freight Trains, Amtrak and lots more!
