The Imagination Movers Ready to Spread Holiday Cheer at NOLA ChristmasFest!
Tis’ the season for family and fun! So gather the kids and come spend an afternoon with the Imagination Movers, the latest and greatest musical extravaganza to celebrate Christmas New Orleans Style with YOUR family.
NOLA ChristmasFest is pleased to welcome the Imagination Movers on Saturday, December 13 at 12:30 pm. The ever-talented New Orleans-based children’s group is set to dazzle the crowd with Holiday cheer in a special Christmas-themed performance as part of NOLA ChristmasFest at Christmas in the District.
Tickets for the Imagination Movers Concert AND admission to NOLA ChristmasFest are just $30. You’ll be treated to an amazing show and all of the family-friendly activities inside the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Plus, as our gift for the holiday season, we’re adding a special “meet and greet” session with the guys following the performance. It’s like Santa arriving early for some lucky kids and their parents too!
The Movers have filmed three seasons of their hit music-and-comedy series for Disney Junior and they have sold roughly 250,000 CDs and DVDs to date. Critical acclaim includes nods from Entertainment Weekly and The New York Times. National television appearances include The View, Live with Regis & Kelly, and Good Morning America. In 2009, the Imagination Movers won a Daytime Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for outstanding original song in the children's show/animation category. In addition to showcasing the Movers’ music, the Disney Junior series has introduced international audiences (it airs in more than 55 countries and territories, in 12 languages) to the band members’ lively comedic talents. Says Imagination Mover Rich Collins, “Our goal is to make many kids’ first concert also one of their parents’ most memorable experiences. We hope everyone leaves needing a nap!"

It’s that time of year again to take a trip down Convention Center Boulevard and witness the thousands of lights and animated music on display through January 6, 2015. And even if the weather outdoors is frightful, it’s always delightful inside the Convention Center during NOLA ChristmasFest, December 12-24, where there’s fun for all ages.
Be a part of the opening celebration for NOLA ChristmasFest and the first to experience this spectacular new Christmas tradition. Discover the new My New Orleans Christmas display after a journey through the Great Hall of Trees featuring a stunning collection of over 50 decorated trees, a Gingerbread House Competition benefiting Operation Homefront, an organization supporting local military families, and Santa’s Playland with inflatables, crafts, a petting zoo, holiday characters and more, as well as a great line up of New Orleans entertainment for adults too.
