My family and I had the opportunity to attend Monster Jam® on Saturday, February 20th, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. My husband and older sons had previously attended but it was the first time my youngest son and I would attend. I was not too sure I would enjoy the show because of the loud noise and well, let's be honest here, I thought monster trucks were not my thing.
To my surprise, I ended up enjoying the show so much! I now have a few favorite Monster Trucks and I can't wait to go again. The show is filled with action, the stunts are amazing and every now and then, your heart just skips a beat when a truck is about to flip or crash, especially when it is your favorite truck!
Monster Jam is definitely an event for the whole family. My kids favorite trucks are Gravedigger, El Toro Loco and Monster Mutt. Personally, I was impressed with Monster Mutt and I love that the driver is a female, Candice Jolly. The agility of these drivers to maneuver the trucks to make donuts is impressive and their ability at freestyle is amazing. It is a very entertaining show. I definitely recommend the show for everyone in the family.
