To add to their already stellar tours, this Halloween French QuarTour Kids has modified their ghost-themed tours and scavenger hunts for our NOLA area kids ages 4 - 12. These tours are not only a great way to inspire spooky family fun, but they are also educational. Each tour is tailored for kids and guided by professional educators. Costumes are encouraged and kids also get to trick-or-treat each stop along the tour. See which tour will send shivers down your children's spines:
Twilight Tour
Ages 7 - 12
The Twilight Tour digs deeper than the kids' ghost hunt to share the details of some of the more unsettling events that happened in 19th-century New Orleans and the restless spirits still lingering today. Kids will learn about Yellow Fever and miasma, as well as the bizarre mourning rituals common to Creole widows living in the Victorian era. Kids will see the most haunted house in New Orleans and learn to communicate with the spirits still there!
As with all of our tours, this is a teacher-led, thoroughly researched tour of our past. While we can’t guarantee the ghosts will communicate back with us on tour, we do guarantee kids will leave the tour with a better understanding of ghosts and the timeless techniques used for interacting with the spirit world.

Time for a ghost hunt! Using cutting-edge technology and a variety of techniques, kids engage with the past and hopefully communicate with it. Winding through the city streets, they will seek out well-known 19th-century residents of the French Quarter. Maybe, just maybe, we can even get some treats from them!
Mischievous ghosts, long-lost pirates, ectoplasm, and more! This kid-friendly NOLA tour is not designed to keep kids up at night but just to make them wonder, “What if…”. New Orleans' history and culture are the backdrops of the hunt. While we’re talking about people from the past, kids learn about the past with fun facts and anecdotes. Families are encouraged to ask our certified guides and experienced teachers questions on this family-friendly activity in New Orleans!
