New Orleans Recreation Department (NORD)  
NORD has six different fitness center locations throughout New Orleans where you can work out on cardio machines and exercise equipment for FREE for ages 18 and older.  Additionally NORD offers group fitness classes for various interests including: Group Fitness, Boot Camp, Walking Group, Yoga, Zumba, Dance Fitness, Fitness Fusion, Hula Hooping, Jazz Hop, Kickboxing, Line Dancing and Pilates. New Orleans City Park  
Zumba Class - Saturdays 8AM - 8:45AM, City Park Peristyle
Brought to you by New Orleans City Park, Elmwood Fitness Center and Ochsner, a Zumba class is offered every Saturday from 8AM - 8:45AM at the Peristyle in City Park. This class is free and open to the community, no reservations required. 

HIIT Class with lululemon (High Intensity Interval Training) - Tuesdays 6:30PM - 7:30PM, City Park Peristyle
A different instructor each week leads these HIIT classes using intervals and a variety of movements, to raise your heart rate in a short amount of time. You can expect things like squats, push up variations, burpees, and lunges to name a few. Instructors may bring along free weights, kettle bells, jump ropes, and other accessories to enhance the class.

Stretch Ya Brass at Crescent Park – Piety Wharf  

Stretch Ya Brass is FREE yoga series for the community every Thursday at 6:15 AM on the Piety Wharf across from the Rusty Rainbow. Bring your yoga mat and find dat center. #moveyabrass

Move Ya Brass at Crescent Park – Mandeville Shed  

FREE Fitness Class! The Bounce Ya Brass fitness class hosted by Move Ya Brass is a free dance fitness class under the Mandeville Shed in Crescent Park every Tuesday from 5:45 pm – 6:45 pm.  This class is all about getting out and having fun and is open to all fitness levels! 2300 N. Yoga Social Club at Crescent Park 

Join the fun under the Pavillion at Marigny and N. Peters St. on Thursdays 5:45 pm - 8PM. Mingle, make friends and get sweaty each Thursday at Yoga Social Club in Crescent Park. Each month will be a different New Orleans studio and it's instructors. Join the fun each week so you can discover a style that resonates with you. This series is hosted by lululemon athletica Shops at Canal Place in partnership with Crescent Park.

November Project New Orleans - NOLA

Distillery Summer Yoga and Cocktail Series

NOLA Distilling will be offering a FREE Summer Yoga Series inside their production facility on Tuesday evenings between July 18 - August 22. The yoga instructors will be Margaux Krane and Jaclyn Guerrero throughout the series. Come by and a grab a drink before (and after!) getting your sweat on. A rotating drink special will be offered for each yoga event.

New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA)

NOMA, in collaboration with the East Jefferson Wellness Center, offers wellness classes every Saturday morning and Monday evening. East Jefferson Wellness Center instructor Terry Rappold leads relaxing Tai Chi exercises in various art galleries at NOMA. Then at 8 a.m. on Saturday, yoga or pilates classes are led among NOMA’s outstanding permanent collection, or if weather permitting, in the Besthoff Sculpture Garden. Classes are $5; FREE for NOMA members and East Jefferson Wellness Center members. To register for yoga, pilates, or tai chi, call East Jefferson Healthfinder at (504) 456-5000.


Yoga at the Cabildo

For residents and travelers at all levels of practice, Yoga at the Cabildo is set in a light-filled gallery of one of the city’s most beautiful and historic buildings.
