Fun Family Events & Entertainment
There is a great line-up of fun events for everyone: Hellenic Dancing, Cathedral Tours, Live Music, Athenian Playground for the Kids, and more! Click here for complete schedules!
One of the great things about Greek Fest is the Athenian Playground for kids.
Athenian Playground offers fun amusements and food for picky eaters (hot dogs, for kids only). This year there will be face painters and two inflatable obstacle courses from which they can select. To cool off or for a quick snack, there will be Snoballs available and the Kafé Snack Bar, where parents can grab a Frappe (iced Greek coffee), as well as snacks, water,
and boxed drinks for children of all ages.
Take a Canoe out on the Bayou Rent a canoe and float down Bayou St. John.
The Hellenic Dancers also spend the whole year training for the live performances.
