Road trip! Take an hour and a half road trip to Morgan City for Louisiana's oldest chartered harvest festival with Cajun music, swamp rock, zydeco, country, rhythm and blues, shrimp cook-off, arts and crafts, fireworks, and the Children's Village. Children’s Village open on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00-5:00pm offering bounce houses, face painting, and games. Click here for more information on their Facebook page. Festival dates are August 30 - September 2, 2024. The festival does not charge an admission fee. Bring money for your food, drinks, rides and arts and crafts if you wish to purchase. Don't miss the fun Children’s Village open on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00-5:00pm offering bounce houses, face painting, and games FREE of charge. Don't forget sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, comfortable footwear, lawn chairs and rain gear (JUST in case)!
