FREE Home Depot Kids’ Workshop! On the first Saturday of each month, Home Depot offers a free workshop for kids to build their own wooden masterpiece. Designed for kids ages 5-12, but all ages are welcome! It is best to sign up in advance, availability of kits are not guaranteed, so arrive early if you can. Show up anytime between 9 am and 12 pm, and your child will be outfitted with a Home Depot orange apron and the tools to create a wooden project (each month is a new project). This month the project is a Whiteboard.
