LUNA Fête is a FREE annual festival of light, art, and technology. Arts New Orleans commemorates the 10th edition of the festival with expansive new collaborations that extend the luminous art festivities to both banks of the Mississippi River. LUNA Fête X, presented by the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and New Orleans & Company, will once again illuminate the Central Business District with a captivating array of light-based sculptures highlighting local and international artists, live music, culinary favorites, and more. In addition this year, attendees can enjoy projections, interactive installations, and holiday festivities across the Mississippi River at LUNA Fête West in the City of Gretna. Click here to read about all the artists.Visitors can also enjoy an Arts Market and live music. Another attraction is DAEDALUM, an immersive Luminarium by Architects of Air. Enter and be amazed. Visitors’ first reaction is often one of delight at the unexpected beauty of the light. Transmitted by the translucent colored parts of the luminarium, the structure is surprising in its luminosity and makes a direct impact on the senses. Tickets are needed for this.
