Take a road trip! Put on by Holy Gaurdian Angels Church, Bridge City’s “world famous” Gumbo is cooked daily at the festival grounds and over 2000 gallons of both seafood and chicken/sausage gumbo will be prepared for visitors during the festival. A variety of other native Louisiana cooking such as jambalaya, New Orleans style red beans and rice with sausage as well as hamburgers, hot dogs, Fish and Shrimp plates, homemade cakes and candies, funnel cakes and many delicious surprises will also be available. Continuous live entertainment on an outdoor stage with a dance floor assures you a most pleasant visit to the Gumbo Festival. You will enjoy Cajun, Country, Zydeco, Jazz, Blues and Rock & Roll music - click here for the lineup. Kids will enjoy the many carnival rides and games. Shop numerous types of arts & crafts booth. This event is held Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
