This festival is New Orleans' premier brass band showcase. If you love brass bands and gumbo - then this event is for you! Come listen to the finest display of traditional and contemporary New Orleans brass band jazz to be found anywhere on the planet. The world-famous, Grammy-winning Rebirth Brass Band once again will headline the event. You'll also hear the Hot 8, the To Be Continued, the Pinettes, the New Breed, the Soul Brass Band and many more. Eat your way through a smorgasbord of New Orleans' signature dish, in a variety of styles including (dare we say it?) vegan. Gumbo z'herbes, shrimp and oyster, chicken and andouille, Creole fil, dark roux, gluten-free and yes vegan all of these and more will be served in our expanded food court. The Arts Market and the Kids Area are combined, with local artists leading interactive and creative workshops. Parents, take note: The Kids Area also will have enclosed areas for diaper-changing and nursing.
