Grab your ladders and get to the route early because this super krewe draws very large crowds! With more than 1,000 members and 31 animated super-floats, Bacchus is revered as one of the most spectacular krewes in Carnival history. The parade debuts a King Kong Family and Bacchaneer Float, a huge four-section pirate ship. The new Kong family, three-unit tandem float will feature high-tech lighting, animation, sound and special effects, with the three giant primates making their new home in a tropical setting, inspired by the recent movie “Kong: Skull Island.”
