Fishing seminars begin at 9:30 a.m.; Crawfish cook-ff starts at noon

Description

Head to Seabrook Harbor to learn more about fishing Lake Pontchartrain, pick up some great deals on tackle and gear and stuff your face with the best crawfish around! The fishing discussions will begin at 9:30 a.m., and will feature Capts. Justin Bowles, Sam Barbera, Bubby Lamy and C.T. Williams as well as Christian Orfanello, Ross Mestayer, Chris Macaluso and Tim Maki. The seminars will wrap up around noon, and that's when the crawfish cook-off will begin. Also beginning at noon will be a fishing flea market, where anglers can pick up real steals on new and used tackle and gear. Seminar admission is free, and ice chests are welcome. All proceeds will benefit Wish to Fish Louisiana, a program that takes kids fishing who wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity.
