Finding Nemo Jr. - Rising 3rd-8th

June 5-25, 2023

Director Ryan Nocito, Music Director Peggy Crain

Price: $550

Locations:  June 5-16 at East Jefferson High School Auditorium; June 19-25 at Jefferson Performing Arts Center. Final performances June 23, 24, 25 at JPAC.

Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

Grease - Rising 6th-12th

July 5-30, 2023

Director/Choreographer Tyler Price, Music Director Max Do Vale

Price: $600

Locations: July 5-21 at East Jefferson High School Auditorium; July 24-30 at Jefferson Performing Arts Center. Final performances July 28, 29, 30 at JPAC.

Here is Rydell High's senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding "Burger Palace Boys" and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking "Pink Ladies" in bobby sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950s in this rollicking musical. Head "greaser" Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their "Summer Nights" as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as "Greased Lightnin'," "It's Raining on Prom Night," "Alone at the Drive-In Movie" recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation. An eight-year run on Broadway and two subsequent revivals, along with innumerable school and community productions place Grease among the world's most popular musicals.
