Campers will learn all phases of the game to help beginners become well-developed players and compete in live game play. Tulane Baseball Camp makes every effort to have an excellent counselor to camper ratio. This ensures quality instruction and individual attention. It will include Tulane coaches, current players and other coaches from around New Orleans area.

Equipment
Each camper must bring their own baseball equipment. Players for this camp should bring bats, helmets, turf shoes or molded cleats only (for indoor facility), hat, baseball pants and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. We will not have any bats or batting gloves available for your personal use throughout the camp. We can provide batting helmets ONLY. Tulane Baseball camps requests each camper place his name and phone number on all equipment and items.
Training Staff
As required, we have a certified NATA trainer at our camp to attend to the medical needs of the campers.
Inclement Weather
In case of inclement weather, Greer Field at Turchin Stadium is equipped with an all turf surface and indoor practice facility that includes 4 x 70-foot batting cages and a regulation clay pitching mound with multiple rubbers. Camp will begin regardless of inclement weather, however, the scheduled event times may be altered.
Drop-off/pick-up & Parking
If you are being dropped off and picked up for camp each day, please use Ben Weiner Drive and the drop-off & pick-up point will be at the entry gate of Turchin Stadium. If you are parking for the day, we have two locations near the baseball stadium that may require a parking fee. The Rosen Lot is FREE and is located right off of S. Claiborne Ave behind our outfield fence and the other is in the Diboll Parking Garage, located on Ben Weiner Drive.
Camp Check-in
All campers will register from 8:00am-9:00am on the first day camp at Turchin Stadium.
Camp Waiver Information
Tulane University requires Camp Waiver forms and Medical forms to be filled out properly, signed and brought to registration.
Merchandise
Tulane Baseball gear and fitted hats will be available in our Camp Store for purchase during registration and after each day of camp.
Medical Care
A trainer will be present during each session to ensure each campers safety. Water will be provided by on site athletic trainer. ALL CAMPERS MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF INSURANCE AT REGISTRATION (A PHOTO COPY IS RECOMMENDED).
