Discovery Garden Celebrations
Celebrate your child’s special day in Longue Vue’s Discovery Garden. Guests of all ages will enjoy the unique beauty and outdoor fun in Longue Vue’s half-acre children’s garden. This two-hour celebration is sure to be a memorable one for you and your family!
Discovery Garden Celebrations include the following:
- Two-hour rental of the Discovery Garden and the Lath House (a semi-covered picnic area with fans, sinks, and six 6’ x 3’ picnic tables)
- Access to restrooms
- Activities appropriate for children ages 2 to 10
- Accommodations for up to 30 children
- Planting party favors for all children
- Services of a Longue Vue Birthday Hostess
Entertainment options include:
- Complimentary outdoor toys and sidewalk chalk

Birthday Tea Celebrations
Treat your child to a birthday tea celebration in one of Longue Vue’s lovely historic spaces—indoors or out! Tea guests will enjoy the pampered pleasure of formal tea service delivered with young visitors in mind. After tea, enjoy games on the lawn during this memorable two-hour celebration!
Birthday Teas are appropriate for children from ages 5 to 10. Teas include the following:
- Two-hour rental
- Accommodations for up to 24 children
- Tea sandwiches, fruit salad, and cookies for children
- Tea or lemonade served in demitasse glasses
- Round tables set with linens and centerpieces
- Plastic plates and napkins
- Access to restrooms
