Young people choose from a list of class options (at least 30 for every age).
Classes are held in these areas:
drawing, painting, clay sculpture, installations, photography, mosaics, electronic inventions, giant puppetry, stilt walking, video, radio CDCA, singing, instrumental music, acting, fiber art, dance, sign language, juggling, circus arts, capoeira, creative writing, costume-making, woodworking, yoga, robotics, cooking, book-making, computer art, swimming, fencing, gymnastics, team games, and more...

Ages:
Boys & Girls age 7 (and entering second grade) through 14 years old.
Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Friday: 8:30 AM to 1:20 PM.
Lunch:
Children can bring their lunch or lunch can be purchased at CDCA.
Before Care/After Care:
Monday – Friday: 7:30 – 8:30 AM
Monday – Thursday: 3:30 - 5:30 PM, Friday: 1:20 – 5:30 PM
Daily Noontime Programs:
Daily presentations, films, and performances by young artists, staff artists, and guest artists.
Arts Festival:
The program culminates with a community Arts Festival on Friday, July 12, early evening. The visual and performing arts combine into an extraordinary expression of creativity that bursts from every corner of CDCA. It exudes and celebrates each participant’s greatness!
