The Ashé Cultural Arts Center Kuumba Academy 2026 Summer Program
Ashé Cultural Arts Center believes every child carries a spark of brilliance, and at Kuumba Academy, they create the space for that spark to grow, shine, and take root. Kuumba Academy offers a fun, enriching experience where campers explore storytelling, art, music, dance, gardening, and more while building confidence and connecting to community. Space is limited, making this a meaningful and memorable summer opportunity for young creatives.
Each day, campers will engage in art, music, African drumming, dance, gardening, and social development, all guided by talented local teaching artists and culture bearers. Through field trips, special guest artists, and hands-on learning, campers don’t just participate, they experience culture, build community, and discover new parts of themselves.

Program Details:
Dates: June 15th - July 31st 2026.
Times: 8am - 3pm (Aftercare 3pm-5pm)
Ages: 5-15 years old
Tuition Includes: Meals, a camp t-shirt, and exciting field trip Fridays
