Art Camp 504 Featuring the Creature Academy - Summer 2026!
Creature Academy cultivates the values of creativity, kindness, discipline, and mutual respect.
Hosted at the Tigermen Den, Art Camp 504 is a collaborative studio where professional artists mentor students ages 7-14 in everything from film production and culinary arts to toy design, bookbinding and Dungeons & Dragons. Students will also learn to use editing platforms such as Garage Band and Canva.
Every day at Art Camp 504 is a mix of art instruction and classic New Orleans summer fun from 8:30am – 3:30pm with before and after-care available. Before-care (starts at 8:00 am) and After-care (until 5:30 pm) are available.
Campers enjoy:
- Mentorship: Skills are taught by professional working artists in the community.
- Outdoor Adventures: Daily trips to Markey Playground and Clouet Gardens.
- Weekly Swimming: Through NORD’s Summer Aquatics Program.
- Friday Traditions: Homemade lunch cooked with the students or a pizza party, followed by a final presentation and art show for families.
