The Junior League of New Orleans (JLNO) is pleased to announce its 13th annual TOUCH-A-TRUCK®! The event will take place on
November 2, 2024
at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
This beloved community event allows kids and their families to interact with some of the area’s most interesting “big trucks” and meet the people who serve and protect New Orleans. Tickets are available for purchase today!
TOUCH-A-TRUCK® is a unique experience you don’t want to miss out on. Some of the exciting vehicles in previous years included helicopters, fire trucks, police vehicles, boats, bucket trucks, the Art Bus, an array of emergency vehicles, and more!
This year will also feature other activity stations like a coloring wall, face-painting, the Beignet Fest Sensory Activationehicle, vendor booths, and prize drawings.
New this year is the VIP Ticket option! Doors will open one hour earlier, at 9:00 AM, for VIP ticket holders, and ticket purchases will include a special gift. Only a limited number will be sold, so get your VIP ticket today to ensure shorter lines for your TOUCH-A-TRUCK® experience.
SENSORY HOUR
Parents and children who prefer to experience vehicles without loud noises or bright lights will appreciate the quiet hour. From 2:00-3:00 PM the event will go "unplugged" turning off horns, lights, and sirens. Earplugs will also be provided so that sensitive ears can enjoy the event without overstimulation.
Another exciting opportunity is the ability to host your little truck-lover’s birthday party at TOUCH-A-TRUCK®! For one day only, your birthday child can celebrate with all the coolest vehicles in the New Orleans area. Parties include a private room at the Pontchartrain Center, 40 tickets to the event, and a special gift for the birthday child. Decoration packages are available for an additional fee.
