Here are our FAVORITE SUMMER BUCKET LIST ACTIVITIES to date:

โ˜‘๏ธVisiting the Kenner Planetarium Mega Dome!

Click here for a video of Betsy and her kiddos enjoying the Megadome!

Besty and her kids had a great time completing this Bucket List item! It's air-conditioned, they have an amazing hands-on weather station for the kids, and an amazing Taylor Swift laser light show.

โ˜‘๏ธPutting our feet up at the $3 Movies

My daughter's favorite activity is taking her friends to the movies! We were able to see some really great movies this summer because of the $3 AMC Summer Movie Camp! It gets us all into the AC, the kids have a good time with their friends sharing popcorn, and the parents can just sit back and have about an hour an a half of peace! There are still 3 movies available this summer:

July 29 & July 31: Migration

August 5 & August 7: Despicable Me 2

August 12 & August 14: Despicable Me 3

โ˜‘๏ธGrabbing a Snoball!

The kids favorite snack during the summer is always a sno ball. My kids love going to Sal's mostly for the wide range of flavors, including King Cake and Batman! But, perhaps even more than the actual sno ball, they love the hangout environment! They sit on the tree trunks and eat their son balls while enjoying people-watching and watching the scene on Metairie Road.

โ˜‘๏ธSwimming at the JCC!

My kids favorite place to swim for the afternoon is at the Uptown JCC with its amazing pools, slides, and splash-pad area, there's always something to do. We join the JCC every year so the children can also go to their favorite summer camp -- you guessed it, it's the JCC! My kids love to experience all the camp has to offer, including the amazing pool area every day! My son mostly loves the STEAM Lab! Missed Summer Camp at the J? That's OK! They have mini-camp spots available until school begins.
