7 Free or Cheap Yoga Classes in New Orleans for Adults and Kids

By Nicole Provosty June 4, 2024

Yoga is beneficial for your body and mind in so many incredible ways. It's great for flexibility, increased strength, joint protection, reducing stress, improving depression, improving balance and sleep, lowering blood pressure and more. It just makes you feel really good physically and mentally after a class!

Below is a list of FREE and cheap yoga classes in New Orleans and Metarie you can find this summer. Most are for adults, however, the library is hosting a series for teens with Yeah Yoga and the East Jefferson YMCA has a Yoga Stars class for kids 6 - 12 years old.

Also, most studios around town will offer a free introductory class. I didn't list studios here, but a simple "yoga in New Orleans" Google search will help you find a studio that interests you.

If you know of other places that offer free classes, please email me at nicolep@macaronikid.com.
