Each year, the Brooke E. Posey Swim-a-Thon raises money for one local non-profit organization. This year's 2024 recipient is StairNOLA, Start the Adventure in Reading Nola! StairNola is a local nonprofit focusing on one-on-one reading and literacy tutoring since 1985.
Over the past seven years, the Southern Yacht Club, the SYC Seagulls swim team, and the Swim for Brooke team have raised $121,300 for children's charities in Brooke's memory.
This is a great way to give back to our community, have fun swimming and exercising, and enjoy live music, delicious food, friends, and summer sun!
