Spend Summer on Sugar Roots Farm!
For Ages 5 - 12
Sugar Roots Farm 2024 Outdoor Summer Camp is offered for four weeks throughout May and June.
Campers will spend immersive days in nature, full of arts and crafts, scientific inquiry, outdoor expoloration, and gaining new friendships with their peers and Sugar Roots' farm animals!
Camp curriculum covers the importance of seed saving and pollination, different ecosystems, the earth’s natural cycles, human impact on the planet, and finally, the abundant magic of the natural world.
SPROUT ages 5 - 7
The Sprout camp curriculum is geared towards children ages five to seven and approaches these topics through a playful and imaginative lens. Campers will make flower crowns, draw in their nature journals, build fairy houses, tie-dye with plants, make dragon eggs and learn about the diverse types of animals, bugs, and plants we are grateful to have here at the farm. NATURALISTS ages 8 - 12
The Naturalists camp curriculum covers these same topics but catered towards children ages eight to twelve. Campers will get their hands dirty planting seeds, collecting chicken eggs, grooming horses, building terrariums, searching for earthworms, and documenting their scientific investigations.
