Join the Octave Family
My kids have been seeing Jay Broussard at The Octave now for 5 years, and they love every minute! Besides the fact that The Octave School of Music is a Macaroni KID New Orleans advertiser, I can honestly recommend them to anyone looking for music classes for their children. The Octave School of Music provides fun interactive lessons by teaching to your learning style and interests - teaching the student, not the book.

First Things First – Music Lessons
Private Lessons. It’s what the Octave does. You’ll learn the way you like to learn. Their well-trained and experienced staff is ready to give you the lessons you’ve been looking for. All lessons are one-on-one so there’s no peer pressure getting in the way. Just relax and enjoy it! That's my daughter on the drums!
The Hard Part – Music Theory
Theory is the language of music. It’s one of the many tools musicians use to communicate, and it can be a roadmap to greatness. Just let your instructor know whether you want a little or a lot, and they'll help you reach your goals.
The Fun Part – Performing
Finally. You finally get to show people what you’ve learned. They offer two recitals a year free of charge to you to showcase your talents, or watch your children play. Be sure to keep an eye open for other opportunities! There's my son singing his heart out!
