Featuring dance, music, theater, visual arts, special guest performances, field trips, and more, our Fall Camps have it ALL for ages 4-12. Our vision is to provide #ArtsforAll and our programs give every child the freedom to express themselves in a safe, encouraging, and positive environment.

FALL CAMPS (Ages 4-12)
THEME: Oktoberfest
WHEN: Oct 9 – 13 (daily drop-in) | 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

DESCRIPTION: Our Oktoberfest Camp returns for its third year in a row! By revisiting and exploring communal and cultural traditions, young artists find joy in creating and celebrating together.

COST: $60 per day (after Oct. 2, $70 per day )
THEME: Shake Your Tail Feathers
WHEN: Nov 20 – 22 (daily drop-in) | 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

DESCRIPTION: It’s Twerksgiving time again at Upturn Arts! Using the dance style of Southern hip-hop, our young artists will explore new ways to communicate through movement and emotion. Experience the joy of being bold!

Upturn Arts Winter Wonderland Camp
WHEN: Dec 18-22, 26-29 (daily drop-in) | 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

DESCRIPTION: Inspired by the sights, sounds, and shapes of winter, young artists are invited to explore individual and collaborative ways of fueling their artistic discovery.

AFTER-SCHOOL VISUAL ART PROGRAM:
After-School Visual Art Program 2023
WHEN: Weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays, September 11th - November 15th
Shining Stars (Ages 4-7) Mondays & Wednesdays, 4:30-5:30 pm
Shining Star visual art lessons are drop-in style classes designed for young artists who want to discover their creative style. Projects will include painting, printmaking, sculpture, and a variety of fun and silly crafts.
Superstars (Ages 8+), Mondays & Wednesdays, 5:30-6:30 pm
This 10-week course is designed for rising artists who want to explore everything visual art has to offer. Lessons will include weird, wacky, or wonderful art history and hands-on projects, including painting, printmaking, oil pastels, charcoal, and more.
LOCATION: 1840 Euterpe St, New Orleans, LA 70113
COST: 1 day per week (10 lessons) $100 total, 2 days per week (20 lessons) $200 total.
