The Spend-a-Day program at St. Mary’s Dominican High School is a great way for students in 5th through 7th grade to experience a day in the life of a Dominican student, from the classrooms and labs to athletics and extracurricular activities. Each visiting student is paired with a Dominican student who will guide her throughout the school day as she meets faculty, socializes with students, and engages in classes and activities. Spend-a-Day is from 7:40 a.m. to 3:05 p.m. and lunch is provided. Attendees may wear their school uniform or modest casual clothes. They also can bring a book in case their guide is taking a test in one of her classes.
“Dominican’s Spend-a-Day program offers elementary school girls a wonderful insight about what makes the Dominican High School experience so special,” said Dominican Recruitment Director, Kailyn Smith.
