Online Music & Movement Classes with Blooming Sounds this Winter

Join Michelle for Online Music Fun and Hacks for Parents Starting December 4!

November 30, 2021

Fresh on the scene since April 2021, Blooming Sounds LLC offers Music Together ® online classes for New Orleans and Mandeville families. The center serves homeschools, families geographically separated or wishing to attend music class from the comfort of their home, and preschools through second grade.

Blooming Sounds LLC was formed by Baton Rouge native turned accidental New Yorker Michelle Noonan, who attended Music Together ® classes with her own daughter. “It was a fantastic experience that continues to have a positive impact on our daughter and our family,” Michelle says. “We credit her vast vocabulary, musicality, and self-confidence in large part to our participation in Music Together ®, but my favorite part is the incredible family bonding we experience through the silly musical play we did in class and still do!”

Michelle completed the Music Together ® teacher training years ago, so she was ready to act on it when the pandemic slowed life down. “I wanted a connection to home (Louisiana), and I wanted to teach Music Together ®. When online learning took off, I realized I could put the two together.”

Starting this Saturday, December 4: Parents can get started with Blooming Sounds’ Lullaby Classes on December 4!  Participants learn lullaby-based parenting hacks, “No, they are not just for bedtime!” says Michelle. “Lullabies are a versatile parenting tool and a magical aid in self-regulation.” Enrollees to this 3-week class will receive a digital download of the award-winning Music Together Lullabies Album with 18 lullabies (also taught in class) and a discount towards Winter 2022 tuition.

The Winter session starts in January.  Registration is open and gift certificates are available! Try a Free Demo Class on December 20 and 21.

More about Music Together Blooming Sounds LLC

Music Together® is an internationally recognized, developmentally appropriate early childhood music and movement program for children birth through grade two in more than 3,000 communities worldwide. The company is passionately committed to bringing children and their caregivers closer through shared music-making and helping people discover the joy and educational value of early music experiences. “As a parent participant, I loved the diversity of the music, which is complex and sophisticated as well as whimsical and fun. I also appreciated the space to just play musically with my child,” says Michelle. “As a teacher and a life-long student of music, I am thrilled with and inspired by the intentional, researched-backed curriculum.”

Michelle explains the program is designed to expose children to a wide variety of music spanning the continents so that they can reach basic music competence (the ability to sing and tune and keep rhythmic accuracy) in the critical early formative years. “And since ‘Music Learning Supports All Learning ®’ our young ones are also getting support in pre-literacy and math skills, socio-emotional development, self-regulation, and more - all while having FUN with their grown-ups and making lasting memories,” she says. In addition to the live interactive classes, enrollees receive materials to keep the music flowing at home throughout the week – including a beautiful songbook, digital recordings, and supplemental materials and activities.
