Growing Up for Girls - Virtual Class for Ages 9 - 12

Growing Up for Girls (9 – 12 years) Virtual Class with Courtney Costello from the Parenting Center at Children's Hospital is a class that presents practical information about female anatomy, what happens during puberty, body image, menstruation and hygiene in an informal, fun and hands-on manner. Girls attend with their mother or care giver.  Please register under the adult's name.  

The class is on December 15, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. and the cost is $20 per child.

This class is for those who have already taken Growing Up for Girls or Boys. Part 2: The Talk includes an anatomy review and accurate information on sex, conception, healthy relationships, consent, and gender & sexuality to support the ongoing communication between teens and a trusted adult. Teens attend with their parent or caregiver. $20 per teen. This class will meet in person at the Conference Center of Children's Hospital. Class size is limited; one adult per teen, please. Masks and physical distancing will be required, temperatures will be taken at the door.
