With official restrictions on museums set to lift at the end of this week, the Longue Vue staff will complete our preparations of the campus next week and will reopen the gardens beginning Thursday, May 28. Reservations will be required, and capacity will be strictly limited.
For the remainder of the summer, visits to Longue Vue will be limited to the gardens, and to small groups. As we move forward, we will announce a date for opening the house, gift shop, and other interior spaces.

Beginning June 8: Garden tours begin
Pending continuing progress in the public health outlook and official advisories, the Longue Vue Gardens will be open to the public on an admission basis, and a new guided tour of the gardens will be introduced. Capacity will continue to be strictly limited, both for tour group size and for overall admission to the gardens.
Visiting the gardens in a new era
When we do welcome the public back to the gardens, you will notice new advisories and resources throughout the grounds. These will include, in the short term, a requirement that facial coverings be worn on-site; directional signage to minimize groups encountering each other on shared pathways; social distancing reminders; restroom restrictions; and hand sanitizer stations. The Shop at Longue Vue will be closed, and no refreshments of any kind will be available. Reception will be located in the Entrance Court at the front of campus.
In all matters, our priority will be the health and safety of our guests and staff. We thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation as we explore this uncharted territory for all of us.
The beautiful, healing gardens, however, will be the same! We are so excited to share them with you once more, albeit cautiously, and we look forward to seeing you at Longue Vue soon.
