Cool Zoo's August hours are weekends only through Sunday, September 3 then the final day is Labor Day, September 4, 2023.
The wet and wild, kid-friendly fun starts with a 750-foot lazy river and continues with a huge alligator water slide, spider monkey soakers, water-spitting snakes and more splash-worthy activities. Best of all, it’s right beside the animals inside Audubon Zoo.

Gator Run is part of Cool Zoo, with a 750-foot lazy river with two sand beaches, lounge chairs, four water cannons, two water curtains and jumping jets. The river is just three feet deep and takes about seven minutes to make a round trip.
Parents enjoy shaded seating all around Cool Zoo, along with snacks and beverages available for purchase at the Snack n’ Splash Concession stand.
