Here is your chance to meet three acclaimed children's book illustrators and see them in action as they doodle their way into your hearts. At this special Sketch-Off event, illustrators Sarah Jacoby, Jared Chapman, & Shawn Harris will take impromptu suggestions from the audience for drawing prompts, and compete against each other. The best sketch wins! Audience members will have an opportunity to win the sketches in a raffle. There will be a book sale, courtesy of Garden District Books, after the event with a chance to have your book signed by the illustrators.
It's all happening on Saturday, June 23rd, from 1 to 2:30 PM, at the Children's Resource Center Branch of the New Orleans Public Library (913 Napoleon Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70115).
