Butterfly Effects, LLC recently opened a new, modern, state-of-the-art 6,000 square foot Center for ABA Therapy to provide services for those on the Autism Spectrum. The Center, located at 4201 N. I 10 Service Road, Metairie, LA, will offer full day and after-school programming to meet the individual needs of children ages 2-21 years old.
“Children with Autism who receive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy at an early age show significant developmental progress,” stated Amanda Fullbright, Butterfly Effects’ Director of Clinical Services. “We are excited and pleased to expand our therapy programming in the New Orleans metro-area through center-based services, as the volume of persons living with Autism continues to grow,” expressed Jill Jacobson, Butterfly Effects’ President.
Butterfly Effects has been providing ABA therapy services in both New Orleans and Baton Rouge since October 2013 to over 325 children and their families. In 2014, a small center was initiated in the Garden District of New Orleans. This new expansion allows for one-on-one ABA therapy for 40 children at any one time.
A parent, whose son receives therapy at the Center recently expressed “Our family loves the Center. Our son loves his therapist and we have noticed so many improvements in the short time that he has been with Butterfly Effects. We are so thankful to have them in our lives.” Butterfly Effects therapists are equally excited to start Center based therapy. “Working at Butterfly Effects has taught me so much and makes me feel happy to be doing something positive to help children with Autism.”
