Do you know a teenager who is interested in animals and conservation?
Audubon Nature Institute's ECCO program provides youth entering 8th-11th grades with a year long opportunity to experience Audubon Zoo, focusing on leadership, animal husbandry and conservation, as well as local and global environmental issues. They also have time for conducting school-based work with access to all Zoo Education resources during ECCO hours.
Participants attend two interactive workshops per week after school, September through May. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Applications are now available. Deadline to apply is August 12, 2016.
