Monster Jam events are affordably priced for the whole family with kids’ tickets starting at $10. Tickets are available in advance at the Smoothie King Center Box Office, day of show at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome box office, all Ticketmaster retail outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 800-745-3000. Tickets go up $5 the day of the show, so get them now!
The event will feature 16 Monster Jam® Monster Trucks, including two Grave Digger trucks World Champion Grave Digger® driven by Jon Zimmer and Grave Digger the Legend driven by Adam Anderson. Both trucks will take on the World Champion Max-D℠ driven by Tom Meents. Additional trucks include, Zombie driven by New Orleans native Sean Duhon, Soldier Fortune driven by Chad Fortune, Doomsday, Young Guns Champion Overkill Evolution driven by Mike Vaters, Jr., FS1 Cleatus driven by Frank Krmel, Gunslinger driven by Scott Hartsock, Xtermigator driven by J.R. McNeal, Razin Kane driven by Buddy Thompkins, Ice Cream Man driven Roy Pridgeon, Jester driven Matt Pagliarulo, Monster Mutt Rottweiler driven by Mike Vaters, Black Stallion and Higher Education driven by James Tracey. Truck lineup and drivers are subject to change.
Approximately 12 feet tall and about 12 feet wide, Monster Jam trucks are custom-designed machines that sit atop 66-inch-tall tires and weigh a minimum of 10,000 pounds. Built for short, high-powered bursts of speed, Monster Jam trucks generate 1,500 to 2,000 horsepower and are capable of speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. Monster Jam trucks can fly up to 125 to 130 feet (a distance greater than 14 cars side by side) and up to 35 feet in the air.
The Party in the Pits on Saturday, Jan. 31 provides fans the opportunity to get a view of the trucks up close and to meet the drivers of the massive monster trucks from 2 – 5 p.m. at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Free pit passes will be available starting January 5, 2015, at participating Southern Quality Ford Dealers while supplies last. Pit Passes are also available for $10 at the box office and all Ticketmaster retail outlets. Fans must have a Pit Pass and event ticket to enter the Party in the Pits.
