Fall Garden Festival - Don't Miss It!

Family fun at the Botanical Garden in City Park this Saturday, October 5

Join garden lovers at this year’s Fall Garden Festival, a family friendly educational experience for home gardeners and professionals on Saturday, October 5 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
 
There will be plant and garden product exhibits and sales throughout the garden. A Children's Fun Fest area, educational programs, music, arts & crafts, and more. Programs take place in the Garden Study Center and are free with entrance to the show. There will be live music each day in the Shade Garden along with an aerial dancer. Sponsored by the New Orleans Botanical Garden, City Park, New Orleans Botanical Garden Foundation and Friends of City Park.  A list of program titles and times can be found on: http://neworleanscitypark.com/events/fall-garden-festival (and also below). 

Admission:  $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 5-12. Children under 4 years old and Friends of City Park receive free admission. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets.

1pm – “Medicinal Plants and Ethnobotany for Gardeners of the Southeast” by Jen Blanchard

11:30am – “Stormwater Management” by Chris Dunaway, LSU AgCenter Horticulture Agent, Jefferson Parish
