Lori Wilken, mother of two, sells Kelly's Kids clothing. In 1983, Kelly's Kids was started on a cotton farm in Waterproof, Louisiana by mother of four, Lynn James. Today, the company boasts multimillion dollar sales and 1,000 sales representatives across the country.
Here is Lori's story:
I started my Kelly's Kids business a year and a half ago after receiving a catalog with so many cute options for my kids. At that time, I was having a hard time finding coordinating outfits for my son, who was almost three, and my infant daughter. Kelly's Kids completely filled that void with their numerous options. I find it very easy to coordinate clothes for kids of any age. I know that I wll always find cute holiday, vacation and every day options for my kids for many more years to come.
This is my third season with Kelly's Kids and I get more excited about the clothes each season! Kelly's Kids meticulously plans each season's clothes based on the feedback from their customers. They are committed to making high-end clothes that not only look great but hold up great as well.
Even though I have a full time job, I was drawn to selling Kelly's Kids since I think it provides so many options for families to find the perfect outfits for so many occasions, from holidays to family photos to vacation outfits. I love giving people the opportunity to earn some of these clothes for free by hosting home parties. Not to mention, this job has given me even more opportunity to spend time with my friends as they host parties. The parties are fun and they give girlfiends a chance to catch up, relax and shop at the same time! This year, we have implemented e-parties, which makes it even easier for hostesses to earn free clothes!
Kelly's Kids is the perfect side job for me as I already have to balance being a mother and my full-time in advertising. I'm able to pursue my Kelly's Kids business with minimal time away from my husband and two kids. My home parties usually take place within a two week span. The rest of my Kelly's Kids responsibilities can be taken care of from the comfort of my home after tucking my kids in for the night!
