If you were born and raised here, you're sure to have lots of childhood Mardi Gras memories. Now you have a unique opportunity to create a really fun Mardi Gras memory for your family - actually riding in the Little Rascals Parade...on a pony or in a wagon!
"Our ponies are very experienced and sensible", says Pony Tales owner Kaye, who has been in business for 28 years. "It is required that you come and have a great time! This is a great activity for a group of friends to do together with their families. Everyone dresses up as either a Western cowboy or Native American Indian and has a blast!"
Parents walk, kids ride!

Scoop from Pony Tales owners, Kaye and Glenn:
•Costumes must include BOOTS, JEANS (or SKIRT), A WESTERN STYLE HAT WORN ON THE HEAD, AND A WESTERN/PLAID SHIRT WITH A TIE OR A BANDANA. Indians are permissible but must look authentic and must wear moccasins.
•Bring water bottles, not soda. Adults and the kids should eat before you come or right before getting on wagons or ponies. No alcohol or smoking on the route.
•Meeting at beginning of parade – please make sure we have your contact phone #’s and emails as I am not sure what location we are meeting at this year. The parade is for 12:00 noon and we need the riders and walkers there between 11:00 and 11:30. We will be assigning staggered drop off times so we don’t have a crush. It is also possible that the ponies and pony wagons may load in a different area than the hay wagons, so stay tuned! The body of the parade rolls from Clearview Mall but the ponies/horses are not allowed there.
Pony Tales is a Macaroni Kid sponsor.
