The Babysitting Course at the Y offers a great opportunity for students ages 11 and up the opportunity to learn key skills necessary for babysitting.
Participants will acquire valuable knowledge on how to care for children safely and effectively, including topics like age-appropriate activities, basic behavior management, and important communication techniques for interacting with both kids and parents.
The course also provides a thorough first aid certification from the American Red Cross, ensuring students are prepared to handle minor injuries and emergencies with confidence. This certification not only boosts a babysitter's credibility but also gives parents peace of mind.
