GIVEAWAY - Win Summer Camp at St. Mary's Dominican High School

1 week of DominiCamp for girls who have completed 4th - 8th grades

Starting on Monday, June 8, St. Mary’s Dominican High School will offer a variety of great summer camps for girls. All camps, with the exception of soccer and softball camps, will be held at Dominican’s main campus, 7701 Walmsley Avenue. Camp offerings are DominiCamp, Jumpin’ for Joy, Sports Camps, and Specialized Camps for Band, Drama, Studio Art, and Robotics.

DominiCamp, June 8-26
Camp is from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. DominiCampers who have completed grades 4-8 participate in various activities, including Do-“mini” Chefs, Jewelry Making, Dance, Math Mania, Science Exploration, Drama, Arts and Crafts, and much more.  Domini-tectives will solve a weekly mystery using skills they have learned in the D.H.S.I. (DHS Investigations) Detective Force. Dance activities will range from Hip-Hop to Jazz, and the creative writing activities give campers the opportunity to express their creativity in a book project. 
Daily lunch activities bring more fun to the camp experience.

Sports Camps, Starting June 8
Sports camps for volleyball, basketball, softball and soccer are from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. NOTE: Volleyball II (Grades 6-8) is 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Campers who have completed grades 4-8 participate in sport-specific instruction and skill development under the supervision of Dominican’s coaching staff.

Volleyball: June 8-12 (Grades 4-5) – 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.; (Grades 6-8) 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Basketball: June 15-19 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Softball: June 22-26 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Soccer July 27- July 31 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Jumpin’ for Joy, June 8-26
Camp is from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 
Jumpin’ for Joy campers who have completed grades 1 – 4 will be treated to days of fun and jazzy activities such as arts and crafts, cheerleading, music, and much more. Weekly themed lunch activities enhance the “Jumper” experience. Camp hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Specialized Camps, Starting June 8
Campers who have completed grades 4 – 8, will learn from Dominican’s faculty in art, music, drama and robotics.  The one-week camps bring talented campers center stage as they cultivate their talents. 

Band: June 8 – 12; 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Drama: June 15 – 19; 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Studio Art: June 22 –26; 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
 
Robotics Camp: June 15 - 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Robotics engineers-in-training will take command of their technology skills and construct an EV3 Lego™ Robot.

Deadline to enter is Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at midnight. Winner will be chosen using www.random.org and notified by email and must respond by Saturday, April 25, 2015 midnight. If we do not hear from the winner by the deadline, another winner will be chosen.
