New Orleans Mini Maker Faire - Discounted tickets for Mac Kid readers!

A Showcase for all makers!

February 27, 2015
The New Orleans Mini Maker Faire has teamed up with Bricolage Academy to create a showcase for ALL New Orleans Makers.

Bricolage Academy is a place where creativity and learning come together every day. Maker Faire is the day that Makers can showcase their creativity and everyone in New Orleans can experience it! The aim of the Maker Movement is to entertain, inform, and connect communities to the endless possibilities of creativity and innovation.

The mission of Bricolage is to advance educational equity and create innovators who will change the world. The New Orleans Mini Maker Faire is a place where the two can come together to promote community involvement in innovative practices.

This year there are over 70 Makers presenting at the faire. Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters to homesteaders to business owners to scientists to garage tinkerers to artists to chefs to musicians to students. They are of all ages and backgrounds. Check out this year's Maker line-up!

The faire is free to children up to 18 and college students with a valid student ID.
