Fussy Baby Network New Orleans & Gulf Coast

Free support services to help you and your baby!

July 10, 2014
Got a fussy baby?

There is no quick fix-but there is help. Call the Fussy Baby Network® New Orleans & Gulf Coast, a program for parents who have concerns about their baby's fussiness during the first year of life. Services are at no cost and no family will be turned away!

Their infant specialists will work with you to find more ways to soothe, care for, and enjoy your baby. At the heart of the services offered is the home-visiting program. Having a fussy baby can feel very isolating. Fussy Baby providers want to help support you. They will come to your home and meet with you and others who play an important role in caring for your baby.

Being in the home provides the least distraction and upset of the family and affords the provider the luxury of seeing your baby in his own home with the people who love him most. A home-visitor will call you to set up a visit and typically spends anywhere from 1-2 hours learning more about your baby and how Fussy Baby can support you and your family.

There is also a Parenting Group you can share your experiences with other parents and learn more about topics of special interest. We will talk about your baby’s day, think together about strategies to soothe and calm your baby, and explore ways that you can enjoy your baby more and begin to take care of yourself. Bring your baby and join us each Wednesday at the YMCA-Belle Chasse, 8101 Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70073 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
