The Archdiocese of New Orleans is pleased to announce a special concert with the Imagination Movers to celebrate the Year of Family and Faith 2013. The Imagination Movers in “Together, We Rock!”  will be held Saturday, April 20 at 1PM the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner. An event for the whole family, Imagination Movers in “Together, We Rock!” will feature live music, and favorite songs and ideas to spark every imagination!

The Archdiocese is pleased to present this concert as a highlight of the Year of Family and Faith 2013, a year dedicated to strengthening the family unit and growing as a family in faith. The Imagination Movers concert is one of the many ways the Archdiocese is encouraging families to spend time together and experience a renewed joy in family life.

The Imagination Movers features Rich Collins, Scott Durbin, Dave Poche, and Scott “Smitty” Smith who will be playing their favorite songs from their wildly popular TV series, as well as material from their latest album “Rock-O-Matic.”  The Movers’ combine danceable, power pop songs with catchy choruses and a knack for inspiring audience participation that will have everyone dancing in the aisles. Throw in a heaping helping of onstage silliness and you have a recipe for a live music event that will truly engage the littlest of kids along with their older siblings, parents and grandparents.

"The Imagination Movers capture the essence of childhood experiences to a unique rhythm that parents enjoy, too,” said Mario Sacasa, Assistant Director of the Family Life Apostolate for the Archdiocese of New Orleans. “Their music can get a whole family dancing and rocking together and we’re happy to offer this as a way to bring families closer together this year."

The Archdiocese of New Orleans presents The Imagination Movers “Together, We Rock!” Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 1 PM at the Pontchartrain Center (4545 Williams Blvd. Kenner, LA 70065).
