The free party starts in full force this weekend! Eighteen parades roll all over...Uptown, West Bank, Metairie, Slidell, and Kentwood. The Quarter is the place to be on Sunday for Barkus - the krewe full of canines and their owners. Never been? You might want to check it out.
In this issue you will find info on the Newman Camp Open House on January 29, a great Super Bowl Camp for the kids hosted by Pony Tales, and a cool Canine Combo show where dogs will perform some really amazing tricks - and it's free for everyone!
Our Yo Gabba Gabba winner has been picked! Congrats to Nikki, commenter #22 - you've won 4 tickets to the show coming to the Mahalia Jackson Theater. Please email me at [email protected] by Tuesday, January 29 at noon. If I do not hear from you, I will have to pick another winner.

Heather - Thanks for your comment. I think maybe a long time ago some used to spell it Scotchman, such as Mark Twain, and later it became out of fashion and obsolete to say Scotchman and Scotsman is used now. I really have no idea, but with my quick online research this is what I gathered. Anymore info would be appreciated.
